Combination Endorsement Information

cdl class b general knowledge test

The combination vehicle endorsement test must be taken by anyone who wants to drive a combination vehicle like a tractor-trailer or a straight truck with a trailer. You must score an 80% or better to pass the combination vehicle test. These CDL practice tests will cover questions regarding driving combinations safely, combination vehicle air brakes, anti lock brake systems, coupling and uncoupling, and inspecting combinations.

Our combination vehicle practice tests contain questions that are nearly identical to the ones that you will see at the DMV. 50,000 unprepared people failed the CDL written test last year. Don't risk waiting on a long line at the DMV only to fail the test.

If you wish to drive a combination vehicle you must pass the combination endorsement written test and you will need a class A CDL. For the most part combination vehicles are longer, heavier and require more driving skills than other commercial vehicles. Combination vehicles have parts that control trailer braking.
